Punk'n Harvest Pumpkin Ale

To me, beer usually just tastes like liquid bread.  It's the yeast, of course.  But, it's Fall, and nothing says "Fall" to me like the flavor of pumpkin.  I couldn't resist trying Uinta Brewing Co's Punk'n Harvest Pumpkin Ale, which, according to Uinta's website, is "brewed with fresh pumpkin and seasonal spices."

On first pour, I was allured by the slightly pumpkin orange color of the ale.  Upon first sip, I tasted some spices, but I mainly just tasted "liquid bread."  I was disappointed that I didn't taste any pumpkin.

Oh, well.  You never know until you try.  I won't be purchasing this particular pumpkin ale again.  If you know of a seasonal pumpkin beer that you think I should try, please add a comment.

Happy drinking!
